After this difficult and uncertain year, with many challenges ahead, we believe Childcare Directors have been the frontline workers. Even through the pandemic is transitioning to a way of life, childcare directors continue to face many challenges in the early childhood field. Childcare directors have been trained to juggle the many daily tasks that a quality childcare center requires. Directors must be versatile in many areas from budgeting, recruiting, training, enrolling, conflict resolution, advocating for policy and reform, family, and community engagement, and the list goes on and on. Coupled with the demand for childcare, Childcare directors are facing higher staff turnover than ever before and increasing food and supply costs.

There’s got to be a better way!

Live the Life waiting for you to love.”

3 questions you should ask yourself everyday to live life with greater intention.

Living life with intention means knowing yourself well enough to act daily in ways that are aligned with your passions, morals, values, and beliefs.  When you live life with intention, you know that you matter;  you know that you are worthy and that you are enough.  In a world where “busy” ness has been equated with success and mental health issues are at an all-time high, let’s make another choice.  Now is the time to start redefining how to live intentionally and love the life waiting for us.

GUEST SPEAKERS:

Syrena Williams

“New Beginnings”

A scripture based session that will allow attendees to continue the premise of transitioning from the past to the present and awakening to the new beginnings ahead of them. My time with them will be a time of reflection and self-inspection. There will be breathing techniques shared, a guided meditation as well as time for quiet journaling ending with a final thoughts/sharing. The objectives are for the individuals to create a current awareness, display intentionality about their current thoughts and set their expectations about the future, while journaling the experience for future reference when feeling off course.
